Development Services

Our Departments provide professional and courteous, building, site development, zoning, property maintenance, plan review, and permitting services to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the County's present and future generations, businesses, and visitors. Development Services consists of Economic Growth, Building Construction Services, Planning & Development, and Code Enforcement. Our team is here to help you get your project built.

Department of Emergency Services (911)

Located in New Port Richey, Pasco County 911/Central Dispatch is a consolidated public safety answering point (PSAP), responsible for handling requests for law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies for the entire Unincorporated County of Pasco as well as the City of San Antonio.

Engineering Inspections

The Engineering Inspections Division provides engineering inspections relative to the infrastructure development of all private and public subdivisions, commercial and special development projects such as roads, rights of way, and other public infrastructure.

Engineering Services

Engineering Services is responsible for the transportation projects in the County, including new roads, improving existing roadways, addition of turn lanes & traffic signals at intersections, bridge work, and construction of new sidewalks and multi-use trails.

Facilities Management

Facilities Management provides the construction, renovation, and maintenance of County buildings and maintains compliance with any applicable departmental requirements, various agencies or government regulations.

Fire Rescue

Pasco's Fire Rescue department operates out of 26 stations, with over 485 paid professionals, volunteers, and support staff. The department is a cross-trained agency in which all paid fire fighters are required to be trained as EMTs or paramedics.

Fleet Management

Fleet Management is responsible for acquiring, disposing, and maintaining all of the vehicles and equipment in the County’s motorized inventory.
