What we do

UF/IFAS Extension Pasco County’s Community Gardens Program assists low income communities in the county to develop self-sustaining (food producing) community gardens, in order to improve quality of life.  Through the leadership of Pasco County Extension Director, Dr. Whitney Elmore and Community Gardens Program Coordinators, Chris Carreiro and Kyle Christmas, our goal is to combat malnutrition with self-grown food and increase financial security by decreasing grocery bills. Grow your own vegetables!  Plots are available for lease, free of charge!!!
