The Pasco-Hernando Workforce Board (PHWB) meets quarterly, with sub-committee meetings scheduled during the remaining months. Meetings may be attended in person or virtually.
The organization is governed by a Board of Directors in accordance the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA) and its replacement, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), and Florida Statute 445.007. The composition and appointment of Board Members is consistent with the provisions of state and federal laws.
Members of the PHWB serve for a term not to exceed eight (8) years.
The Pasco-Hernando Workforce Board, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that serves Pasco and Hernando counties by administering local workforce development and welfare reform programs through state and federal initiatives. PHWB is one of 24 Local Workforce Development Boards in Florida operating under the governance of CareerSource Florida, Inc.
