1. I'm having difficulty using the new website. Is my internet browser the problem?

At this time, we have identified a problem when using an iPad. On the iPad, you can schedule inspections and do other functions, but you CANNOT pay fees on an iPad. This is a known problem and we are working to correct this function as quickly as possible.

For other systems, the supported internet browsers are Internet Explorer 11, Google Chrome 42, Mozilla Firefox 37 and Safari 8. Any other versions of these browsers are not supported and may cause functional issues. Please update or switch versions in order to have the best possible experience with our program.

3. How do I get registered for the Pasco County Online Permitting?

Go to https://aca3.accela.com/PASCO. On that website you will find a link to the instruction manual and links to get registered. Pasco County Online Permitting

4. I used to get an inspection placard as my permit. What happened to this?

You can now print a placard by going to the online permitting website. At the top, Click on "Reports", then "Inspection Placard". This will open up a new window where you can enter your record number (permit number) and it will generate a placard that you can print.

5. My home is in a flood zone and I am not able to apply for an online permit even though it is one of the types that is supposed to be available online. What can I do?

This is a known problem and we are working to resolve this as soon as possible. At this time, you must come in to a Central Permitting office to obtain a permit.

6. Can I apply for a permit online without coming in to Central Permitting?

At this time only certain types of permits are available online without coming in to a Central Permitting location. Those types of permit are: Ground Settlement - Investigation Reroof - Hurricane Mitigation Re-Roof Re-Roof - Non-Hurricane Mitigation Re-Roof All Materials Re-Roof - Shingle Over Shingle Residential AC Change Out Residential AC Duct Work Residential Add-Modify Gas System Tank Residential Electrical Service Change, Upgrade Residential Electrical Underground Service Associated with New Construction (Early Power Release) Residential Water Heater or Plumbing System NOT including Softener, Conditioners, Filter Residential Water Softener, Conditioners, Filter.

For all other types of permit, you must apply in person at a Central Permitting Location. At this time, all commercial permits must be applied for at the New Port Richey location only.

7. There is a lock on my file showing that I need to provide a Notice of Commencement. What can I do?

You must provide a Notice of Commencement that is notarized. You can either upload the document to our new Online Permitting System, or you can bring it in to any Central Permitting office. If you upload the notice to our new online system, you must still contact a Central Permitting office to have the hold lifted. You can call any of the Central Permitting Offices. 8. The contractor I am searching for is not on the new computer system. Does this mean they are not licensed?

No. This means that they are not currently registered and active with Pasco County Licensing. You can contact Contractor Licensing at (727) 847-8009 for more information.

9. I have an old permit application number and cannot find it in the new system. Is it deleted?

No. Some of the permits did not convert correctly and they are being re-entered manually in the new system. Try searching by the address of the application. If you still cannot find the application, please contact Central Permitting at (727) 847-8126.

10. I've gone online and tried to schedule an inspection. The type of inspection that I need to schedule is not showing. What do I do?

You will need to call Building Inspections at (727) 847-8127 and speak to someone. If the call volume is heavy, you can email your question to InspectionSchedulers@pascocountyfl.net and someone will get back to you.
